Warranty and Return Policy


Aquavista tries to ship all orders within 72 hours of receipt of orders.  Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt..  In the event that your order will not shipped during this time frame, you will receive an email or call from our customer service team.  If you have any questions about your order or require assistance, please contact us at 408-453-4151.  


Aquavista Aquariums come with a six (6) month warranty on electronics and electrical parts and a one (1) year warranty on the body from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period"). If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Aquavista will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product (under Aquavista discretion). Aquavista may request that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that Aquavista provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation.

Return Policy

We at Aquavista pride ourselves on providing the best customer service and experience by offering a 15 day Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your Aquavista aquarium, you can return it and receive a complete refund.*

In the event that you wish to return or exchange your aquarium, there are just three things you should know:

  1. You may return or exchange your Aquavista Aquarium up to fifteen (15) days from the date you receive your Aquavista.
  2. You are responsible for shipping the aquarium back to Aquavista in its original condition, and for the costs associated with that shipment. Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. Items with free shipping will be deducted a restocking fee of 15% of total item cost.
  3. Items must be returned in original condition. Items returned that are damaged, missing parts or accessories, or have been used will incur a restocking fee of the higher of 15% of total cost or parts damaged.

To return an item, just call our customer service at 408-453-4151 to receive an RMA number and return instructions. Products returned without an RMA number or in packaging other than original packaging are not guaranteed to be processed, may incur a restocking fee, and may be refused. Return packages must be prepaid; we cannot accept COD.

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt to verify 1) their condition, and 2) that all components are included. Any product that is missing components will incur a charge for those missing items.

*Original shipping costs are non-refundable, including when items have been purchased with free shipping, unless an item is returned as a result of our error (wrong item sent, etc.). We cannot be held responsible for lost return packages.  If free shipping has been offered, the shipping cost normally charged will be deducted.
